Compatibility Notes

The two SolarSaga 500X panels included in this bundle plug directly into the Explorer 5000 Plus's DC inputs — no extra adapters required. The Smart Transfer Switch is exclusively compatible with the 5000 Plus series and requires professional installation by a licensed electrician via the home's sub-panel; complete the online STS Installation Request Form after purchase to initiate the installation process. The Explorer 5000 Plus and Explorer 2000 Plus can charge each other by connecting AC input to AC output but do not support parallel operation; the 5000 Plus only supports parallel use with another 5000 Plus unit via the STS, not with other Jackery models or third-party power stations. Mixing different models or wattages of solar panels is not recommended; connecting more than two solar panels simultaneously requires the Jackery Solar Panel Connector (sold separately).
